Lead the QA/QC team, oversee all QA/QC activities across production lines.
Arrange, coordinate, and participate in external quality audits such as HACCP, MESTI, GMP, and HALAL accreditations.
Maintain and update manuals and documentation for HACCP, MESTI, GMP, and HALAL standards.
Ensure good communication and collaboration with departments like Production and Sales to improve product quality, handle product complaints, and more.
Responsible for quality control of raw materials and finished products.
Prepare reports on tests measuring quality, quantity, and composition.
Set quality standards and ensure production adheres to them.
Maintain long-term quality of production and service.
Keep records of all tests conducted by the team.
Perform quality control analyses, including tests and inspections of products and processes.
Maintain the corporate quality manual and records.
Review and report causes of quality loss and non-conformance, propose solutions to management.
Ensure check sheets are correctly completed and non-compliance issues are addressed and signed off.
Draft and verify product specifications, COA, MSDS, etc.
Perform other related or ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Higher/Graduated Diploma.
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in QA/QC within the food manufacturing industry.
Flexible and able to perform overtime.
Preferably experienced in food-related industries with knowledge of MESTI, HACCP, GMP, HALAL standards.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
