Quality Engineer ensures that all internal and external quality standard requirements are met by setting inspection procedures, identifying non-conformities and finding improvement opportunities before products reach customers.

• Set up product measurement methods, characteristics, and tolerances to meet quality requirements for in-process and finished products.
• Audit processes and product measurements and assess Quality Control Inspectors’ competency to ensure effective quality control.
• Analyse deviations and defects, report findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure product quality is maintained during process changes or new product development.
• Manage calibration needs and ensure proper standards are available for accurate results.
• Train and guide Quality Auditors on measurement and auditing methods.
• Supervise Quality Auditors to improve scheduling and performance.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and report non-conformances.
• Investigate customer complaints, validate claims, and escalate when necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Wood Technology
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in quality assurance and manufacturing environmentb.

• Self-disciplined, eager to learn, proactive and positive, with a strong quality mindset
• Works well in a team and independently, able to delegate and follow up to meet deadlines
• Proactively understands stakeholder needs and stays on top of quality issues
• Analytical and detail-oriented

• Strong understanding and application of safety requirements and hazard identification
• Solid knowledge of product specifications and processes
• Hands-on involvement in quality issues and improvement activitiesWorking knowledge of MS applications, Power BI, and quality analysis tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
