The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a team across multiple CU Mart outlets. This role involves strategic planning, regular performance reviews, store visits, and team development to meet company objectives. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, experienced in retail operations, and a strong leader with a hands‑on, analytical approach.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short‑and long‑term tactical sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor area sales performance to ensure achievement of regional targets.
- Lead monthly regional meetings to review performance, identify challenges, and implement action plans.
- Conduct regular store visits with Area Sales Managers to assess operations and recommend improvements.
- Prepare performance reports and propose strategic solutions to the National Sales Manager.
Operations
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, audit standards (SQC, FSC, ICD), and basic customer service protocols in all outlets.
- Oversee daily operations including stock control, merchandising compliance, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor order accuracy, delivery receiving, and EOD cash reconciliation across stores.
- Drive store performance through planogram compliance, effective product displays, and avoidance of OOS or expired goods.
- Ensure stores operate within scheduled hours, maintain float levels, and have sufficient manpower.
People
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, manpower planning, and maintaining optimal staffing levels.
- Coach and develop Area Sales Managers and store staff for career progression and performance improvement.Conduct monthly one‑on‑one reviews and on‑ground store visits for team engagement and guidance.
- Cultivate a positive and motivating work environment to drive retention and staff satisfaction.
- Participate in and support area meetings to ensure consistent communication and alignment across all levels.
Job Requirements:
- Willing to work 5 days/week, including weekends and public holidays, with flexibility for irregular hours and emergencies.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fast‑paced retail, with at least a Diploma in any field.
- Willing to travel and own a personal vehicle.
- Results‑driven, proactive, and self‑motivated with strong leadership and people skills.
- Strong customer focus, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving using root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree, sales background, and ability to speak multiple languages.
