Job summary

A reputable accounting firm located in Puchong is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full sets of accounts and lead daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, MIA membership, and at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software is essential, along with strong multitasking and communication skills in English and Mandarin. This permanent position offers a structured work schedule, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the construction or renovation industry is an added advantage.
  • Prior audit experience is advantageous.

About the Company

IDW Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. is an established interior design and renovation contracting company, recognized for delivering high-quality design solutions and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full sets of accounts, including financial statements, management reports, and cash flow management.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee credit control activities and ensure timely collections.
  • Supervise and manage payroll processing.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow projections based on management forecasts.
  • Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, bankers, agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • MIA membership is mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the construction or renovation industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of MYOB and prior audit experience are advantageous.
  • Strong ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, with a flexible and adaptable work attitude.
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers).
  • Good interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Must possess own transport.
