Inviting applications for the role of Accountant Record to Report (RTR) - Insurance Industry

In this role, you will collaborate with team members and other departments to accomplish tasks such as budget management, cash flow, corporate reporting, month-end close activities, fixed assets capitalization, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process month-end journals, perform closing and reporting activities, manage stakeholder communications for exceptions and issues.
• Handle General Ledger tasks including reconciliations, revenue/inventory/cost accounting, accruals, trial balance, and financial statements preparation.
• Manage Fixed Asset accounting, including setup, depreciation, and asset disposal recording.
• Conduct Cost and Revenue allocation, including setup, analysis, and validation of entries.
• Perform tasks supporting compliance, planning, and process execution independently.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or CA from an accredited institution.
• Relevant accounting experience post-degree.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Willing to work a morning shift (4am-1pm).

Preferred qualifications

• ACCA/CPA/CIMA certification.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, understanding of controls, policies, and compliance.
• Audit experience or background in Share Service Centers.
• Experience in Life or General insurance.
