Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a temporary School Receptionist and Administrator in Leicester. The ideal candidate must possess an Enhanced DBS check and advanced MS Office skills. Responsibilities include liaising with students and staff, data input on SIMS and Excel, and providing administrative support. Express Recruitment are proudly supporting a large education trust with their current recruitment needs for a school in Leicester predominantly within their Business Support Teams.

Our client is looking for immediately available candidates to work as a Clerical Assistant on a short-term contract. The successful candidate must have an Enhanced DBS which is already on the update service.

  • Liaise with students, school colleagues, and parents via telephone and email
  • Input data onto bespoke SIMS and MS Office packages
  • Update Microsoft Excel to record confidential information
  • Contact students for missing data, such as personal details and contact details
  • Provide administration support to a busy management team

Skills & Experience

  • Full Enhanced DBS Check available on the update service
  • Previous experience within a similar setting
  • Advanced MS Office skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of using school databases including SIMS
  • Strong diary management and co-ordination skills
