Arriva UK Trains are seeking a talented and motivated placement student to join our Commercial team as a Revenue Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity for university students to gain invaluable industry experience while contributing to our commercial success.
You will be involved in commercial reporting, analysis and management of group bookings, whilst providing essential insights that drive business decisions and optimise revenue generation.
This is a fantastic chance to get some hands on, finance experience within a large organisation which will set you up for future career prospects.
What you will be doing:
You will be assisting in the generation of commercial reports and dashboards to track revenue performance and identify trends.
The Revenue Analyst will also be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of revenue data to uncover opportunities for growth and optimisation.
Collaboration with cross functional teams will be another key part of this role, supporting operational performance and revenue generating projects.
You will also be responsible for the management of group bookings, ensuring that everything is efficiently coordinated, maximising revenue potential.
The Revenue Analyst will also be required to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders across the organisation.
What you will need:
This individual will need to have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights and will need to be a highly organised individual who is able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
The Revenue Analyst will need to have a proactive approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail, and will also need to have a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This individual will need to be currently enrolled in a university degree or program, ideally in a relevant field including Business, Economics or Finance, who is seeking a placement opportunity between the second and final year of your course.
You will need to have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement.
