A financial services agency is seeking a Bridging Underwriter to manage short-term property finance applications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in underwriting bridging or refurbishment loans. Responsibilities include assessing loan applications, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role offers competitive compensation of up to £50,000 per annum and various employee benefits, including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and options for flexible vacation days.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm
As a Bridging and Refurbishment Underwriter, you will be responsible for assessing, structuring, and managing short-term property finance applications, underwriting bridging and refurbishment loans in line with the company's credit policy, lending criteria, and risk appetite. Candidates should have proven experience in bridging and/or refurbishment lending, with a minimum of two years' underwriting experience within specialist property finance preferred.
