Job summary

A reputable healthcare provider in Leicester is seeking a temporary receptionist to be the first point of contact and deliver high-quality customer service. The role involves answering calls, managing reception-related administration, and ensuring a tidy reception area. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, confidence in using computers, and a positive attitude. Successful applicants will undergo an ADBS Disclosure check. This position is for a full-time schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job description

This is a temporary receptionist role at Avery Healthcare in Leicester. The position involves providing professional and high‑quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as performing a range of administrative duties.

Main Duties
  • Answer the telephone and respond to enquiries, redirect calls to relevant staff and record messages.
  • Complete reception‑related administration, maintain databases and provide administrative assistance as required by the General Manager.
  • Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area and liaise with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills, confidence in using computers, a positive and welcoming attitude, and prior experience with problem‑solving and client complaints.
