Year 2 Teacher – Full‑Time Position in Altrincham (January 2025 Start)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming, inclusive, and forward‑thinking primary school in Altrincham. The school seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their supportive team from January 2025.

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well‑structured lessons tailored to Year 2 pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering clear, constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and raise attainment across the Key Stage.
• Take part in CPD opportunities and contribute to the wider life of the school community.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate effectively to meet diverse learning needs.
• Sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and current educational practices.
• Confident use of technology to support and enrich learning.
• Effective classroom management and organisational skills.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Year 2 or Key Stage 1 (ECTs with relevant placements are welcome to apply).
• A genuine passion for delivering inclusive, high‑quality education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
