Art and Design Teacher

Position: Art and Design Teacher

Start Date: September 2025

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Art and Design Teacher to inspire and engage our students in the creative arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art forms and techniques, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to bring out the best in each student.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design to students of varying abilities.
2. Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills.
3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for the arts.
4. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve and grow.
5. Organize and oversee art projects, exhibitions, and other extracurricular activities related to art and design.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at the school.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in art education and integrate new ideas and technologies into the curriculum.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, or a related field.
3. Experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary school level.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A creative and innovative approach to teaching.
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Desirable:

1. Master's degree in Art Education or a related field.
2. Experience with digital art and design tools.
3. Previous experience in organizing art exhibitions and events.
