The role includes supervising construction, ensuring technical standards are met, and managing departmental budgets. Ideal candidates will have 10-15 years of experience in road maintenance and relevant engineering certifications, along with strong leadership and project management skills.
Responsible for leading and overseeing all maintenance operations related to road infrastructure and street lighting within the jurisdiction. The role involves supervising construction and repair works, ensuring compliance with technical standards, managing departmental planning and budgeting, and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety in road operations and maintenance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / master's degree or equivalent professional credentials
Experience: 10–15 years in road maintenance, infrastructure, or civil works Government or municipal road management experience
Certifications: Accredited engineering or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PE)
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent
