To support the HRBP in delivering high-quality HR operations and initiatives across multiple GCC countries. The HR Specialist will manage day-to-day HR processes, ensure compliance with local labor laws, assist with HR systems and reporting, and provide administrative and operational support across all HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle Support
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, contract preparation, and employee documentation.
- Support employee relations cases by gathering information and preparing draft communications.
- Maintain and update employee records and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with the PRO and external providers for visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Assist with HR-related DAFZA processes and audits.
2. Payroll & Compliance
- Collect, prepare, and validate monthly payroll input (attendance, overtime, deductions).
- Assist in tracking changes in salaries, promotions, and transfers for payroll updates.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies across UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
- Support in managing employee leave balances and end-of-service calculations.
3. Talent Acquisition Support
- Post job openings and coordinate interview schedules.
- Screen CVs and perform initial interviews for entry-level and retail positions.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and orientation schedules.
4. Performance Management
- Assist in launching and tracking performance cycles on SuccessFactors.
- Follow up with employees and managers on goal setting, evaluations, and feedback timelines.
- Maintain performance records and system accuracy.
5. Medical Insurance & Benefits Administration
- Enroll new employees in medical insurance and process deletions or changes.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and employees for claims, escalations, and queries.
- Maintain benefit files and track benefit usage or patterns.
6. HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain employee records and workflows in SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent HRIS.
- Generate regular reports on headcount, attrition, leave, and other HR KPIs.
- Support system audits and data integrity checks.
7. HR Projects & Initiatives
- Support the HRBP in rolling out new policies, HR communications, or training programs.
- Assist in HR planning and execution for new store or entity launches in the GCC.
- Help with employee engagement surveys, wellness campaigns, and cultural events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably within the GCC retail or corporate sector.
- Basic understanding of GCC labor laws (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait).
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
