Job summary
A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an IT procurement specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT solutions in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a proven track record with IT vendors, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. This role offers a contract position with remote work options available.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT procurement preferably within the UAE market.
- Strong understanding of technology products and licensing models.
- Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT procurement specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for our IT solutions and technology products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and distributors within the UAE market.
- Source and procure IT hardware software licenses and services (e.g. Microsoft 365 Fortinet VMware HPE Kaspersky and networking equipment).
- Maintain and build relationships with vendors suppliers and distributors in the UAE.
- Evaluate and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with the sales and pre-sales teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and client requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders track deliveries and manage documentation in line with company policies.
- Stay updated with local market trends product availability and vendor performance.
- Support the finance team in reconciling vendor invoices and handling any delivery or pricing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with import VAT and local procurement regulations in the UAE.
- Minimum 24 years of experience in IT procurement preferably within the UAE market.
- Strong understanding of technology products licensing models and vendors.
- Experience dealing with UAE-based IT distributors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with procurement tools ERP systems or platforms like Odoo (preferred).
- Excellent negotiation communication and time management skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Bachelors degree in Business IT Supply Chain or a related field.
- Prior experience in working with IT resellers system integrators or MSPs in the UAE.
