YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

We are looking for a Junior Accountant in 7 WARRINGTON ROAD, CLAREMONT, CT, WESTERN CAPE 7708 ZAF. Your mission will be to:

Are you an enthusiastic, analytical-minded individual with above-average organisational skills and a keen interest in finance? A detail-oriented team player who can multi-task and is eager to learn from the best of them? Then we’ve got just the job for you.

What we're looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification (3 year) in Finance or similar
  • Newly qualified individual who is willing to learn
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records is an added advantage
  • Experience with MS Excel and other related accounting software is an added advantage
  • Good understanding of procurement processes from PO to Payment is an added advantage
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

You'll be tasked with:

  • Issuing of daily purchase orders
  • Analysis of open orders
  • Provision of remittances to suppliers
  • Process and submission of Weekly payments
  • Recon supplier invoices to GRV and PO
  • Submit to accountants for raising
