About the Role

The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and providing technical support to end-users.

The IT Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth technology operations and supporting employees with technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Setup and configure end-user computers and create user accounts.
2. Manage, maintain, and update site copiers and printers.
3. Install software, provide training, and maintain system updates as needed.
4. Maintain and secure passwords, file systems, and data integrity.
5. Report issues and resolutions to customers and staff.
6. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems.
7. Order computer hardware and ensure backup spares are available.
8. Document policies and procedures within the IT department.
9. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the IT environment.
10. Complete daily and weekly IT checklists.
11. Monitor internet connection security risks and employ security protocols.
12. Monitor LAN for threats or errors.
13. Provide 1st and 2nd line support for user IT issues.
14. Conduct network troubleshooting to identify problems.
15. Support WAN & LAN connectivity between branches and sites.
16. Support and maintain server uptime, including weekend maintenance.
17. Manage IT assets effectively.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
• CompTIA A+ & N+ certifications.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in IT administration.

• Veeam Backup & Replication, Microsoft Office (SharePoint & MS Teams).
• All Windows Server platforms, Windows 10 & 11.
• SQL knowledge is advantageous.
• Mimecast, Active Directory, Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Network experience, including firewall and access control.
• Helpdesk systems (ManageEngine).
• Connectivity technologies, including VOIP.
• Knowledge of IT change management and implementation best practices.
