About the Role
The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and providing technical support to end-users.
The IT Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth technology operations and supporting employees with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and configure end-user computers and create user accounts.
- Manage, maintain, and update site copiers and printers.
- Install software, provide training, and maintain system updates as needed.
- Maintain and secure passwords, file systems, and data integrity.
- Report issues and resolutions to customers and staff.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems.
- Order computer hardware and ensure backup spares are available.
- Document policies and procedures within the IT department.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the IT environment.
- Complete daily and weekly IT checklists.
- Monitor internet connection security risks and employ security protocols.
- Monitor LAN for threats or errors.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for user IT issues.
- Conduct network troubleshooting to identify problems.
- Support WAN & LAN connectivity between branches and sites.
- Support and maintain server uptime, including weekend maintenance.
- Manage IT assets effectively.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
- CompTIA A+ & N+ certifications.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in IT administration.

- Veeam Backup & Replication, Microsoft Office (SharePoint & MS Teams).

- Mimecast, Active Directory, Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Network experience, including firewall and access control.
- Helpdesk systems (ManageEngine).
- Connectivity technologies, including VOIP.
- Knowledge of IT change management and implementation best practices.
