We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide hardware and software maintenance, training, consultation, and recommendations for future planning and development of resources.

1. Provide front-line support for technical issues involving computer systems, software applications, networks, and hardware.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site and remotely, ensuring high user satisfaction.
3. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating systems.
4. Maintain an accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources.
5. Conduct regular audits of IT equipment to ensure assets are well-documented, updated, and operational.
6. Assist in maintaining compliance with data security and protection policies.
7. Perform system checks, updates, backups, and patches regularly for optimal performance and security.
8. Apply fault-finding and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges efficiently.
9. Liaise with IT vendors, including hardware and software suppliers, to resolve issues.
10. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up accounts, workstations, and system access.

1. Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
2. CompTIA A+ certification.
3. Network+ certification.
4. 5-7 years of IT technical experience.
5. Valid driver's license.
6. Experience with Dolfin POS.
7. Strong hardware skills and end-user application knowledge.
8. Willingness to travel and stay overnight across South Africa.
9. Availability to work outside of regular office hours.
