Job description

The Power Automate and Power Apps Developer will primarily be responsible for developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining custom business applications to support integration and automation of processes across MSH.

Specific responsibilities include:

Development (70%)

  1. Identify technology and applications training needs across the organization.
  2. Learn and understand the list of Power Automate / Power Apps across the organization.
  3. Maintain a list of Applications across MSH with clear descriptions, owners, and access.
  4. Create documents, guidelines, and standards to support ownership, permissions, and naming conventions for Power Applications.
  5. Work closely with IT Staff to identify training needs.
  6. Collaborate with MSH departments to understand requirements, design, plan, and implement Power Application solutions.
  7. Update and support flows to meet changing requirements.
  8. Keep all documents up to date.
  9. Answer applicable Helpdesk queries related to Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

Communication & Training (20%)

  1. Provide input for ongoing communications from the IT department (Friday Focus, ITS Intranet section, WW Communication emails, and ITS SharePoint site).
  2. Provide training to teams on using solutions created.
  3. Create materials to support training and communication on new solutions.

Other (10%)

  1. Participate in IS and MSH meetings to provide regular status updates and keep up to date with organization and other group activities.
  2. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  1. 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  2. 3+ years of working on Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  1. Experience in Power Platforms.
  2. Intermediate knowledge of: Custom connectors, RPA, AI Builder, Solutions, and Gateways.
  3. Experience with RESTful web services.
  4. OAuth 2.0 understanding.
  5. SharePoint Online, Graph API, Automated Deployments, PowerShell, SQL.
  6. Firm understanding of SharePoint permissions, coding, and techniques.
  7. Skilled in SQL queries, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  8. Create web technology solutions to support Power Automate applications.
  9. Support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot and resolve any issues with software.
  10. Collaborate with MSH Teams to develop intelligent features and scalable applications.
  11. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.
  12. Determine, develop, and maintain standards, guidelines, and coding standard documentation.
  13. Collaborate/communicate efforts and align development efforts with planned roadmaps.
  14. Be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements to design, to development, to testing, and implementation.
  15. Ability to demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills to successfully interpret technical processes to non-technical audiences.
  16. Provide support for Power application solutions, troubleshooting issues to resolution.
  17. Fluent in English; French is a plus.

  1. 10% travel may be required.
