Key Responsibilities

Job Description

1. Managing, Leading, and Controlling

• Day-to-day management of employees
• Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all employees
• Scheduling and conducting RTW sessions

• Managing the entire sofa production line from start to finish – frame making, poly, foam up, upholstery, bottoms, and stubs
• Ensuring units produced meet targets and quality standards
• Consequence Management
• Contributing to the factory's overall goals

• Identifying training needs and reporting to the Production Manager

• Monitoring individual performance to maintain and achieve standards
• Consequence Management
• Supporting the factory's broader objectives

• Recording target statistics and data

• Achieving results while building strong internal and external partnerships
• Managing client expectations and satisfaction

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent
• Production Diploma or Certificate (advantageous)
• Leadership skills
• 3–5 years supervisory experience
• Planning and organizing skills
• Experience in furniture manufacturing (advantageous)
• Production knowledge and experience
