Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years knowledge of WMS CargoWrite
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Min 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory / Team leader role
  • 1‑2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
Job Related Requirements
  • Experience in stock control; knowledge of inbound, return processes and workflows; investigation and troubleshooting of stock discrepancies; planning, organising, leading, controlling & monitoring; good communication skills at all levels; strong attention to detail and high quality of work;
  • Must be able to meet and manage internal and personal KPIs and ensure compliance to policies, regulations, work instructions and workloads;
  • Good interpersonal skills; understanding of inventory management principles; ability to work extended hours or after hours when required by operations;
  • Prepare and execute daily workload for distribution to employees; retrieve and compile data into reports used for performance management, progress tracking and investigations; initiate disciplinary action;
  • Compliance with site policies, regulations, work instructions, maintenance, SHERQ, IR processes; lead, train, measure performance, manage subordinates to ensure high morale, productivity and retention; intermediate knowledge of industrial relations and processes.

Main purpose of the role

This role will be responsible for the leading and control of the inbound & outbound operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee outbound for all clients for the facility
  • Adherence to HSE compliance and responsibilities
  • Create and maintain various reports in line with KPI and contractual obligations
  • Control, action, investigate and complete CAPA documents when needed, covering consignments, error percentages, KPI requirements, etc.
  • Practice and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Daily reporting to management
  • Monitor and report on staff attendance
  • Perform duties in other departments as per operational requirements or when required by management
  • Oversee special projects
  • Reward good behaviour with employee‑of‑the‑month awards
  • Correct bad behaviour by ensuring necessary disciplinary action is taken
  • Ensure 5S compliance
  • Ensure SPQRCE is adhered to
  • Conflict management
  • Hourly floor walks to ensure compliance of health and safety and staff monitoring
  • Drive the team to meet daily targets in line with contractual obligations
  • Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement
  • Meet all client‑specified KPIs and comply with quality system requirements
  • Keep manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention daily; hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess overall status, discuss improvement ideas and keep staff informed of new developments
  • Assist in physical operations as needed
  • Deliver results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time
  • Maintain high motivation in team members to focus on providing highest levels of customer satisfaction
