A leading talent management company in Johannesburg seeks a Supply Chain and Inventory Manager to optimize inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery of materials. This role requires expertise in Syspro MRP and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management. The successful candidate will lead logistics coordination and inventory accuracy efforts while working closely with cross-functional teams. A strong analytical mindset and proven track record in improving stock performance are essential. This position is based on-site in City Deep, JHB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain, inventory management, or materials planning roles.
• Min of 5 years of hands-on experience with Syspro MRP.
• Proven track record in improving stock accuracy and inventory turns.
• Working knowledge of inbound logistics and import processes.

Job description

The Supply Chain and Inventory Manager will lead inventory planning, stock accuracy, and material flow across the business. The role is responsible for ensuring the right materials are available, in the right quantities, at the right time to support manufacturing operations, using Syspro MRP as the core planning tool.

The primary focus of this position is to optimize inventory levels, improve stock turns, reduce overstocked lines, and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of components to the factory, while coordinating logistics and selected offshore supply activities.

• Stakeholders: sales, operations, and logistics partners
• Supply Chain Planning & MRP: Own, implement and continuously improve the Syspro MRP system to support accurate demand planning, material requirements, and replenishment decisions
• Inventory Control & Accuracy
• Factory Supply & OTIF Performance: Ensure reliable, on-time, and in-full delivery of components to the factory.
• Supplier & Inbound Supply Coordination
• Reporting, Risk & Continuous Improvement
