Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a capable individual for a customer service role in Gauteng. Candidates should be fluent in Afrikaans and English, possess excellent administration and customer service skills, and be willing to learn. Duties include assisting customers, direct sales, and stock control. The role is office-bound, requiring own transportation. This position is ideal for industrious applicants looking to grow within the agricultural sector.
Qualifications
- Agri experience or qualification will be an added bonus.
- Industrious and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assisting walk-in customers with information on products.
- Direct sales.
- Dispatching product, including lifting 25kg bags.
- Basic stock control.
- General admin.
- Quotes & invoicing.
- Customer liaison.
- Answering phone calls.
- Liaising with transporters.
- Assisting with agricultural expos.
- Assisting with ad hoc functions within the wider group.
Skills
Agri experience or qualification will be added bonus
The candidate must preferably have the following attributes / skills or be willing to learn same :
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (written and spoken)
- Experience with accounting programs
- Basic accounting skills (invoicing & capturing)
- Customer service experience
- Excellent administration skills
- Good computer skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Attention to detail
- Preferably non-smoking
- Assisting walk-in customers with information on products
- Direct sales
- Dispatching product (this may involve lifting 25kg bags from time to time)
- Basic stock control
- General admin
- Quotes & Invoicing
- Customer liaison
- Answering phone calls
- Liaising with transporters
- Assisting with agricultural expos like Nampo
- Assisting with ad hoc functions within the wider group of companies (also in the agricultural field)
- Hours : 08 : 00 16 : 30 ; Monday to Friday ; office bound only
- Own mode of transport
- Offices based in Centurion
