About the role
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Lead. Working in a small team, you will have experience in auditing, ideating, concepting and creating content for social channels
with a performance mindset. You will have experience in leading social media teams across several markets including extensive experience in managing community managers and influencers.
The role will be primarily dedicated to a project with an international
jewellery company, working primarily in the USA in building the interest for their products.
This role will be expected to quickly understand the landscape and brand priorities and be able to communicate that into social strategy and execution considering different market priorities.
A focus on conversion and how to create compelling customer journeys is preferred.
What you’ll do:
- Work with a content team to develop social content that helps build brand interest for a new service and product in the jewellery space in the USA.
- Work to refine how to drive customers from awareness to consideration and conversion using compelling, story-lead social media content.
- Conduct thorough research to inform the
project strategy, including but not limited to desk research,
data insights and analysis, native analysis and social listening
- Inform and advise on platform best practice, and latest developments in social to help make the campaign and any other social work a success
- Develop an influencer strategy, recruit, negotiate and manage influencers and content creators across several international markets ensuring excellence in output
- Develop and implement community management strategies across markets and ensure the rigorous implementation of the strategies
- Define rigorous ways of working and process around reporting and analysis of campaigns, ensuring the upmost accuracy in presentation of data and campaign impact
- Report to the client and internal teams on the success of projects and recommend areas of improvement on an ongoing basis
- Set guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all social content, as well as create governance documents for the campaign and influencers where appropriate, including response matrices.
- Overseeing the planning, production and reporting on social publishing with a focus on meticulous organisation and data collection and analysis.
About you:
- Minimum 5+ years in social media leadership with a broad understanding of consumer habits, channels and touchpoints.
- Experience in luxury and jewellery is preferred, and the candidate will ideally have experience across a number of categories and industries, including lifestyle, health and wellness, beauty and consumer goods
- A deep understanding of channel purpose, appropriate content formats and best practices to meet audience and channel needs.
- Comfortable conducting consumer research (whether desk research, or through insights tools)
- A sound understanding of social platforms and their role in publishing.
- An expert understanding of social reporting and analytics and how to interpret data to lead strategies.
- Experience in both organic and paid media and the ability to align paid and organic strategies across social and web.
- Experience concepting and creating social content.
- Experience in influencer and creator analysis, recruitment and management.
- Experience in working with other agencies to deliver holistic social strategies.
- Experience in managing teams of social media professionals, preferably across markets
- An entrepreneurial self-starter who is excited about building major projects from the bottom-up.
