Job description
What the role is:

You are responsible for driving personnel planning, career development, manpower planning, succession planning and performance management of Army Engineers.

What you will be working on:
  • Assist Branch Head in driving retention and engagement programmes for Army Engineers
  • Handle Military Expert (ME) career development, manpower planning, posting and performance management
  • Manage Route of Advancement (ROA) and oversee tracking and coordination of annual developmental courses
  • Work out preliminary posting plans with Head Manpower Planning and Formation Sergeant Major
  • Coordinate posting discussions with various stakeholders across different units
  • Track, schedule and manage interview board sessions
  • Challenge(s): Managing the diverse profile and population of Army Engineers while ensuring timely execution of ROA and succession planning
  • Managing multiple stakeholders to ensure adequate manning levels across all units
What we are looking for:
  • Education in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in people engagement, career development, succession planning and performance management is preferred
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to changes and receptiveness to new ideas
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness of work processes
