Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Singapore is looking for a skilled production manager to plan, schedule, and control the production activities of bulk drug substances. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience along with strong project management, troubleshooting, and GMP knowledge. Candidates must have a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and be comfortable managing a team while ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industry.
  • Good knowledge of product, production processes, and the plant.
  • Very good statistical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production of bulk drug substances meets quality, time and cost specifications.
  • Manage staff and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Develop and approve relevant manufacturing documents.

Commissioning and operational experience
