Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as Manager/Assistant Manager, Human Resources (HRBP). This role combines strategic HR business partnering with operational HR and recruitment responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders, line managers and employees to implement HR initiatives aligned with the strategic goals of NUS-ISS.

HR Business Partnering
  • Partner with line managers to understand business priorities and provide strategic HR advices and solutions.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition.
  • Provide advisory to managers on HR policies, practices, and people-related decisions.
Recruitment
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates fit, and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain and update recruitment metrics and reports.
HR Project
  • Lead and support HR-related projects, including HR-IT systems enhancements, digitalisation initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Manage HR data integrity, reporting, and analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes to enhance service efficiency and employee experience.
HR Operations
  • Oversee daily HR operations including employee onboarding, offboarding, contract administration, and records management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, employee data, and documentation.
  • Provide timely support for HR inquiries and deliver good standards of HR service delivery.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HRBP and recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors).
