Role Summary:
The Junior Supply Chain Executive (JSC) supports daily supply chain activities including procurement, inventory coordination, logistics follow-up, and supplier communication. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
·Support the implementation of standard operating procedures and quality checks.
·Assist in maintaining procurement and logistics records in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
·Assist in preparing routine reports on stock levels, order status, and vendor performance.
·Support quality control processes by communicating supplier issues to the QC team.
2. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
·Assist in sourcing raw materials and packaging items, ensuring alignment with purchase requirements.
·Support the procurement team in preparing purchase orders and obtaining supplier quotations.
·Maintain accurate supplier records, including pricing, lead times, and delivery performance.
·Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery timelines and follow up on pending shipments.
3. Logistics & Order Fulfilment
·Inbound process:
oHandle all inbound movements to the factory from the related stakeholders.
oHandle product market returns and communication between the related stakeholders to ensure receipt and verification of quantities.
oAssist in preparing documentation prior to international shipping, customs clearance process, and notification of warehouse and logistic providers.
·Outbound process:
oSupport in scheduling delivery bookings.
oSupport in communicating with warehouse and logistic providers to ensure timely deliveries.
oSupport in communicating with drivers in regard to their daily delivery route.
oReceive POD from drivers and reconcile with system weekly.
oUpdate the order tracking sheet as per the status of each order
·Track and report delivery statuses, escalating delays when necessary.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Cross-Functional Support
·Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Production teams to ensure supply chain alignment.
·Attend internal coordination meetings and follow up on assigned supply chain tasks.
·Identify and suggest minor process improvements to enhance day-to-day efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
·Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
·1–2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role (internship or entry-level experience acceptable).
·Basic understanding of supply chain functions such as purchasing, inventory control, and logistics.
·Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is a plus.
·Strong organizational and time management skills.
·Good communication and teamwork abilities.
·Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
