Consolidated Engineering Company – Khatib & Alami is seeking to hire a Saudi National Transport Modeler to be located in Abha. In this role, the successful candidate will be based at the Client’s office and will undertake tasks related to transport planning and modelling, including:

1. Using major strategic transport modelling software packages such as EMME and Visum, with experience in model development, scripting, and macros in these packages.
2. Utilizing micro-simulation modelling programs like VISSIM and Synchro.
3. Providing high-quality advice to clients on transportation issues and proposing innovative solutions.
4. Developing modelling scope, methodology, and fee proposals or tenders.
5. Working under minimal supervision within a defined area of responsibility.
6. Designing, interpreting, and presenting transport and travel surveys.
7. Interpreting modelling results and contributing to the development of area-wide or corridor transport strategies.
8. Preparing transport planning reports, including analyses of existing conditions, trip generation, junction analysis, and parking assessments.
9. Assessing the transport effects and infrastructure requirements of new developments for planning applications or local authority development plans.
10. Developing initial design ideas for new or improved transport infrastructure.
11. Possessing experience in staff mentorship and development.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, transport planning, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transport modelling.
• Proficiency in industry software tools related to traffic engineering and transport modelling.
• Knowledge of industry guidelines and standards.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation skills.
