Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the eCommerce Manager is to align Nestlé's strategy with eRetailers' needs by developing mutual business opportunities. The eCommerce Manager ensures proper planning, JBPs, and identification of growth opportunities within the channel, along with planning and contributing to the eCommerce roadmap for the best online consumer journey.

  1. Responsible for achieving eRetailers' sales targets by category.
  2. Ensure accuracy of demand planning and master data cleaning.
  3. Work closely with CDT and regional eCommerce teams based on defined ways of working.
  4. Collaborate with CDT and A&P to plan execution for all innovations (Sampling, Budgets, targets, etc.).
  5. Partner with the CDT team to identify category growth opportunities.
  6. Coordinate with Supply Chain to identify opportunities to manage orders and deliveries, and improve efficiency.
  7. Work with Finance to drive initiatives for improved financial management (disputes, aging reports, processes).

eRetailers Management

  1. Conduct business reviews with eRetailers and set strategies to achieve mutual objectives.
  2. Analyze Consolidated Marginal Contribution (CMC) and develop plans to increase profitability.
  3. Develop and manage long-term relationships with eRetailers.
  4. Define strategic direction for eRetailers with key stakeholders.
  5. Ensure BDA execution and compliance.
  6. Develop specific business plans for eRetailers in alignment with their needs and ensure proper execution.

Reporting

  1. Monitor eRetailers' business performance and develop action plans to accelerate growth or address shortfalls.
  2. Share monthly execution reports with pre- and post-evaluations and competitor activity insights.
  3. Share shopper observations and eRetailers' feedback insights.

Execution

  1. Plan MIP aligned with category objectives.
  2. Plan and execute deployment for new innovations in line with category strategy (off-shelf displays, sampling, brand talk).
  3. Implement monthly initiatives.
  4. Work with CDT to drive initiatives using a data-driven mindset (sell-out, shopper observations, etc.).
  5. Develop eRetailers-specific promotions aligned with category objectives and business development needs.
  6. Ensure listing of new SKUs and achievement of POP objectives while managing eRetailers' database.
  7. Manage eRetailers' financials (balance confirmation, statement of account reconciliation).
  8. Manage TTS spend using ROI and leveraging sell-out data.
  9. Ensure timely processing of credit notes, statement of accounts, and cheque collections.
