Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and physically capable Furniture Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The driver will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers' locations in a safe and timely manner, as well as assisting the delivery team in handling, positioning, and assembling furniture on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safely operate company vehicles to deliver furniture to residential and commercial customers.
2. Load and unload furniture with care, ensuring minimal damage during transit and handling.
3. Support team members (e.g., carpenter, helper) in lifting, moving, and installing furniture according to customer specifications.
4. Assemble furniture on-site using basic tools, following product instructions or company guidelines.
5. Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent service.
6. Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips; report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
7. Follow delivery schedules and route plans, adhering to traffic and safety laws.
8. Complete delivery documentation accurately and submit on time.
9. Maintain vehicle and personal appearance in a clean and professional manner.

Qualifications

1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture delivery or a related field.
3. Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and use of hand tools.
4. Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 kg) and work in varied environments.
5. Strong team spirit and ability to coordinate well with other team members.
6. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
