Position: Specialist - Vertical Transport

Your new role involves:

1. Developing and designing vertical transportation systems to meet building requirements and industry standards.
2. Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new vertical transport systems.
3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate vertical transport solutions into building designs.
4. Performing inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.
5. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
6. Developing maintenance schedules and protocols.
7. Ensuring compliance with regulations.
8. Conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
9. Staying updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
10. Managing relationships with service providers and suppliers.
11. Supervising third-party maintenance and repair services.
12. Evaluating vendors and negotiating contracts.
13. Training facility management staff on operation and emergency procedures.
14. Developing user guidelines and manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in elevator/escalator technology (a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in vertical transport.
• Proven project management, installation, and maintenance experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and maintenance tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Availability for emergencies and occasional after-hours work.
• Physical stamina for handling equipment and tools.
