Digital Banking Squad Lead - Senior Software Developer
Job summary
A leading bank in Asia is seeking a Data Engineer located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to join their newly established technology center. This role involves leading digital banking initiatives with a particular focus on backend development, UI/UX implementation, and system architecture. Successful candidates will have 6-9 years of experience with J2EE, React JS, and OpenText TeamSite. You will work in a fast-paced environment to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth.
Qualifications
- 6 to 9 years of strong hands-on experience in J2EE, JSP, React JS, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, and Camel (CXF).
- Experience in digital banking platforms (Infinity / Digital Bank).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and solution design skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional squad for digital banking initiatives across Retail Banking.
- Guide the team in implementing UI/UX using React JS, JSP, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Review system architecture and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Lead investigation and resolution of production issues.
