A leading semiconductor company is seeking an Information Technology Engineer in Malacca City, Malaysia. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or in a related field.
• Experience in standard Linux OS (Ubuntu preferred) and Open Source in general.
• Very good knowledge of CEPH cluster operation in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Enthusiasm for modern technologies and trends.
• Experience in cloud and container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Programming experience (C/C++, Go, Python).
• Openness to new things and you are a reliable, flexible and independent team player.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CEPH and NetApp Storage administration.
• Do conception and architecture of CEPH and NetApp solutions.
• Run error analysis and optimization of CEPH.
• Participate in concept and architectural decisions.
• Be responsible for continuous improvement of system landscapes with CEPH and NetApp.
• Do scaling with CEPH.
• Participate in global on-call shifts.
