Job summary
A recruiting agency in Johor is looking for a candidate to provide technical support and service for water treatment systems. Responsibilities include resolving customer issues, maintaining equipment, and supporting sales representatives. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, a diploma in Chemical Engineering, and a valid driver's license. The role requires visits to customer sites, making travel willingness essential.
Qualifications
- 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience.
- Experience in water treatment systems.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and service support to district accounts.
- Identify and resolve customer pain points.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment.
Skills
Education
Location: Kukup, Johor
- Provide technical and service support to district accounts.
- Identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.
- Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories.
- Install, calibrate and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment.
- Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.
- SPM or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of successful technical service or field sales support experience.
- Experience in water treatment – cooling tower, chiller, and boiler are preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Willing to travel and assist in the maintenance and recovery of faulty equipment.
