Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in the electrical installation environment.
• Good knowledge of low-voltage (LV) switchboard required.
• Working knowledge in cable sizing is advantageous.
• Competent in MS Office, MS PPT, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in graphic designing software is a plus.
• Possession of own transport preferred.
• Willingness to travel to different sites.

Job description

The Project Manager/Engineer will oversee end-to-end project delivery — from site surveys and technical proposals to installation, testing, and maintenance of EV charging stations across condominiums, commercial, and industrial sites. This role will work closely with in-house installation team, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant deployment of charging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site survey for EV charging stations in condominiums, commercial and industrial buildings across Malaysia, and provide technical proposal and costing after each visit
• Manage the installation of EV charging stations
• Coordinate with in-house installation team and contractors on the scheduling of installation and testing & commissioning
• Assist in the submission of documents for Permit to Work (PTW) and compilation of relevant documents
• Support the testing & commissioning of EV charging stations
• Perform repair and preventive maintenance of EV charging stations
• Support innovation and trial projects for new charging hardware and software systems

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in the electrical installation environment
• Good knowledge of low-voltage (LV) switchboard
• Working knowledge in the selection of breakers, cable sizing will be advantageous
• Competent in MS Office, MS PPT, AutoCAD
• Experience in graphic designing software (i.e Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) will be advantageous
• Possessing own transport is preferable but not a must
• Comfortable with being mobile i.e. travelling to different sites
