Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive. The ideal candidate will manage sourcing, vendor negotiations, and the purchasing process to ensure efficient procurement. Responsibilities include preparing Purchase Orders, maintaining communication with departments and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with quality and cost standards. Candidates should possess a degree in a related field and have at least 3 years of relevant experience along with strong skills in Excel and SAP.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team at HL-Manufacturing Industries Sdn. Bhd. The ideal candidate will manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchase operations to ensure smooth and cost-efficient procurement processes that support daily operations.
- Perform sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and issue Purchase Orders to approved vendors.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to meet operational needs.
- Support daily procurement activities and handle any ad-hoc purchasing tasks assigned by management.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly reports, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping in the system.
- Ensure all purchases meet quality, quantity, and cost requirements in line with company standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.
