Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Manager to manage daily production schedules and ensure quality standards. Job description

Prepare daily,weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and capacity

Ensure all machines,manpower and raw materials are available to meet production targets

Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns promptly either directly or through coordination with the maintenance team

Plan & implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Coordinate the purchase and planning of raw materials based on production schedules and inventory levels

Receive raw materials from suppliers according to purchase orders and ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards

Ensure all raw materials received meet company & quality specifications

Monitor raw material usage to minimize wastage and maintain optimal stock levels

Liaise with suppliers and the purchasing department to ensure a consistent supply chain

Ensure that the factory environment and all products comply with relevant ISO standards

Ensure production processes are carried out according to approved SOPs and documented QMS procedures

Support internal & external ISO audits and implement correvtive and preventive actions

Collaborate with the Quality Control department to address quality issues and maintain product consistency

Ensure workforce safety and cleanliness in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) regulations

Provide operational supports to the Sales & Marketing team

Ensure customer orders are fullfilled on time & according to specifications

Supervise,train and evaluate the performance of production supervisors and operators

Receive further instruction/directives from time to time from Executive Director
