The Global Supply Planning Team:
This team is responsible for translating regional demand streams into executable supply plans. They work closely with suppliers to forecast and ensure timely delivery of goods into regional distribution centers. The team moderates supply requirements to maintain appropriate inventory levels, considering product lifecycle, inventory on order and in transit, finished goods, and quality. The team also makes decisions regarding SKU classifications such as BTS, BTO, or CTO.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Review vendor requirements and specifications to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Engage with Business SMEs to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements across business processes.
- Design strategies and solutions to meet project goals.
- Manage and resolve system issues within the applications portfolio.
- Lead process documentation and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare supply chain plans and drive improvements in shipment and compliance rates.
- Escalate shortages and mitigate supply constraints, including capacity issues and expediting.
- Negotiate with suppliers and resolve problems through collaboration.
- Develop solutions based on in-depth data analysis.
- Manage team activities, including staffing, training, and development.
- Act as an advisor to team members and develop performance schedules.
- Interact with stakeholders and lead collaborative project efforts.
Job Requirements:
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
Preferred Work Experience: 12+ years with a bachelor’s degree.
Key Skills and Competencies:- Extensive experience in Materials Management, including Purchasing, Planning, and Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills for data mining and process improvement.
- Experience in international supply chains and contract manufacturing is a plus.
- Direct manufacturing experience in electronics industry is a plus.
- In-depth Oracle experience preferred.
