About the Job

We are seeking high-potential candidates for two distinct Supply Chain functions:

1. Senior Associate, Supply Chain (Planning)

This is a critical internal planning role with a strong focus on inventory health and order fulfillment strategy, serving as the primary point of contact for the Sales team.

• Experience & Salary: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a salary range of RM5,000 – RM8,000.
• Customer Service Focus: Serve as the primary point of contact for parts indent and order requests from the Sales team, devising action plans for urgent support cases.
• Order Management: Gather and consolidate requirements from the sales and warehouse teams, performing checks before submitting purchase requisitions.
• Backorder Communication: Provide clear updates on backorder statuses to the Sales team and customers, as well as accurate and realistic estimation of delivery lead times both internally and externally.
• Inventory Planning: Plan inventory using company-approved demand forecast models, monitoring and identifying changes in sales trends, stock levels, and supply risks.
• Procurement Support: Liaise with vendors to gather backorder statuses, lead time, latest pricing, and engage in negotiations.
• Improvement: Work with management to improve inventory processes, forecast models, and support digitalization efforts.

2. Associate, Supply Chain (Logistics)

This role focuses on end-to-end import and export handling, requiring strong coordination with international stakeholders and external parties (freight forwarders, customs).

• Experience & Salary: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with a salary range of RM3,000 – RM6,000.
• Import Handling: Manage inbound shipments end-to-end, including arranging transport, handling customs clearance, and raising GRNs by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and the warehouse team.
• Export Handling: Handle export shipments by working with freight forwarders to ensure goods are shipped on time.
• Documentation: Keep an organized archive of import and export documents (e.g., CIPL, K1, K2, K8).
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with import classification and bonded warehouse rules.
• Reporting: Track and report indirect import and export costs to the pricing team for accurate and competitive pricing strategy.
• Support: Assist with planners should there be a need.

Shared Requirements & Competencies

Both roles require candidates who possess a strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering results.

• Experience: More than 3 years (Associate) or more than 5 years (Senior Associate) of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Material Planning, Engineering, or related fields.
• Technical Acumen: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or other similar tools.
• Data Skills: SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Competencies: High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different teams and regions.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of diesel engines is an added advantage.
