A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage demand forecasting, material planning, and logistics efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills and a degree in Supply Chain Management. You will collaborate across departments to optimize operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, proficiency in data analysis tools, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Support demand forecasting and supply planning cycles by analyzing sales trends, seasonality, and market patterns.
Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Procurement to align demand forecasts with production and inventory plans.
Participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights for decision‑making.
2. Production Capacity & Material Planning (MRP)
Run Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure timely material availability based on production schedules.
Monitor production capacity utilization, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization opportunities.
Work with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure alignment of production and material readiness.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Analyze inventory levels across multiple sites to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce working capital.
Track stock aging, slow‑moving, and excess items; propose corrective actions with relevant departments.
Support periodic stock audits, system accuracy checks, and improvement of warehouse processes.
Analyze logistics performance, cost per ton, route optimization, and 3PL vendor efficiency for both first mile and last mile.
Develop and maintain logistics KPI dashboards covering OTIF, cost‑to‑serve, and fleet utilization.
Support network design initiatives to improve coverage, cost, and delivery lead time.
5. Supply Chain Data Analytics & Process Improvement
Collect, validate, and interpret large datasets using advanced Excel, Power Query, or Power BI tools.
Build Supply Chain KPI dashboards and analytical reports for management review.
Support business process reengineering (BPR) and digital transformation initiatives to improve operational visibility and control.
Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance supply chain performance and efficiency.

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
Min 5-10 years of working experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or operations analysis (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, Power Query) and Power BI / Tableau.
Knowledge of S&OP process, cost modeling, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Good communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills.
