Production Supervisor to oversee production operations, he/she will be the one to guarantee that manufacturing remains smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflow.

Responsible to plan, organize, lead and control over VSC, in achieving company’s and departmental goals and objectives.

To oversee VSC's daily routine jobs, providing management and technical guidance to employees including reporting of production output, yield, shipment and material status…etc.

Responsible for implementing and executing company activities related to QMS, EMS, Safety & Health, 5S, Lean Manufacturing principles...etc. Ensure today's job today clear.

Allocate manpower according to loading subject to manager's approval and permission.

Responsible for production efficiency and maintain manufacturing at lowest loss possible.

Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality and production and all improvement activities are strictly followed by production staffs through line patrol/audit.

Ensure on time delivery at all times, achieving the set target.

Ensure production inventory at the acceptable level. Manage WIP from time to time. Ensure Work Order Management is in place.

Carry out any duties as assigned by superior.

Comply with all environmental control procedures.

Ensure all activities are performed in a manner that does not create unnecessary environmental impacts.

Report or feedback on environmental incidences or improvements needed.

Good understanding of production equipment and processes, with technical ability for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.

Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and the willingness to support and implement improvement efforts.

Candidate must possess at least Diploma and above in production/business management or equivalent required.

Minimum 4-6 years of manufacturing supervisor experience.

Knowledge and Exposure in Microwave or RFID Technology is an advantage.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OSHA regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Must have the ability to perform additions, subtractions, etc.

Good communication skills – fluent speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia, including oral, written, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

The ability to write reports and compile accurate records.

Employee works primarily in a manufacturing environment, within a well‑ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to:

Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull. Able to reach in all directions.

Walk and stand for extended periods of time to cover 10 - 12 hour shifts.

Other physical requirements as needed for job.

Possess own vehicle and valid license.

The person must be able to work in shift work pattern and willing to work overtime/on-call duties to deal with out out-of-hours problem.

A willingness to work flexibly.

Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
