Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Certified in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Hold a valid CIDB certification.
  • Minimum three (3) years of working experience in the warehousing, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
  • Familiar with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and able to work well in a team.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of collection and delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Travel locally or outstation to liaise with intercompany, suppliers, and customers.
  • Plan and track collection & deliveries according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain logs and records of various orders and scheduling drivers.
  • Monitor petrol, TNG usage, and Credit Note status.
  • Assist in monitoring legal transport requirements and overseeing company assets.
  • Check driver’s claims, commission, and allowances.
  • Coordinate with finance department for payment arrangements.
  • Prepare delivery schedules for logistic teams timely and cost-effectively.
  • Analyze market trends for improving accuracy and effectiveness of forecast.
  • Manage orders volume and assist in vehicle purchases.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints promptly.
  • Develop strategy for decreasing vehicle cost.
  • Study market needs & develop new delivery services.
  • Compile & analyze data of vehicle capacity utilization.
  • Maintain documentation for truck repairs or replacements.
  • Follow up repairs with in-house workshop and purchasers.
  • Ensure GPS systems functioning properly and organise repairs.
  • Schedule downtime maintenance of trucks.
  • Propose solutions for truck driver issues to management.
  • Organize logistic operations and driver education.
  • Arrange towing or rescue team for breakdowns.
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans.
  • Ensure quality, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments.
  • Perform metrics reporting to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Make recommendations for service delivery process improvements.
  • Maintain communication with managers, staff, and vendors.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and yearly reports.
  • Hold safety orientations and prepare documentation for safety procedures.
  • Create policies focusing on effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
  • Partner with teams to improve tools and systems.
  • Ensure operational activities are on time and within budget.
  • Lead and support a large team, including career development.
  • Manage data collection for productivity targets.
