Be as a strategic technology consultant with strong AI/ML expertise, providing expert technical guidance throughout the sales and delivery cycle, offering tailored demonstrations, designing enterprise geospatial systems, performing strategic assessments, and contributing to proposals.

In this role, the consultant will collaborate with industry consultants, sales teams, service delivery personnel, and technical support staff to drive the adoption of ArcGIS technologies while integrating AI-driven solutions to solve real-world spatial challenges.

Here’s what a typical day will look like:

• Be well‑versed in Esri product & technology trends in specific, and generally on relevant third‑party technologies in AI and Machine Learning.
• Provide consultation to industry clients on enabling AI with Esri product, supporting enterprise geospatial systems and solution architectures that align with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and deliver custom solution demos and proofs of concept, demonstrating the value and capabilities of Esri technologies.
• Design and implement AI/ML models (classification, clustering, computer vision, predictive analytics) and integrate them into ArcGIS workflows.
• Work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS API for Python/ArcPy to process, analyze, and visualize spatial data.
• Apply GeoAI workflows for imagery analysis, land use classification, object detection, predictive modelling, and other spatial AI use cases.
• Facilitate hands‑on workshops and adoption events, promoting customer engagement and successful technology adoption across various industries.
• Provide comprehensive technical onboarding and support to partners, ensuring they are well‑equipped with the latest Esri technologies and resources.

To be successful you will need to bring along:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
• Required Skills and Experience (5 years):
• Strong hands‑on in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, Keras, etc.).
• Python for data science and automation.
• Data preprocessing, model development, and deployment.
• Understanding of data pipelines and automation workflows for AI/ML.
• Understanding of big data frameworks (Spark, Databricks, cloud‑native data lakes)
• Willingness and ability to proactively learn and apply GIS/ArcGIS technologies.
• Effective presentation and relationship‑building skills, with a proven ability to engage and collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, in Malay and English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience delivering solutions in industries like urban planning, agriculture, utilities, disaster response, or defence.
