Job summary
A leading logistics company in Shah Alam is looking for an experienced logistics sales professional. You will be responsible for developing business and engaging with customers while ensuring high-quality service. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and a results-driven mindset. This role offers competitive growth opportunities in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience in logistics sales, preferably in sea freight.
- Solid understanding of international shipping practices and freight forwarding operations.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and diversify business in line with financial and volume targets.
- Own, monitor, and drive all sales activities for customers.
- Align sales efforts with CCL Managers and Pricing teams.
- Monitor competition and gather marketplace information.

You will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets. You will do this by workingwith a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuringprospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainablecustomer deals.
- To align your sales efforts with Customer Care Location (CCL) Managers, Pricing + Sea Logistics BusinessDevelopment teams, including pricing decisions.
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
- To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
- To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
- To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
- To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers + team.
- To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality inclose collaboration with the CCL.
- Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience in logistics sales, with a strong focus preferably in sea freight.
- Solid understanding of international shipping practices, trade lanes, Incoterms, and freight forwarding operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mandarin language skills are preferred to facilitate business but we welcome applicants who meet the core qualifications regardless of language proficiency.
