Job summary
A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Manager - Quality & Lean in Selangor. This role ensures customer satisfaction, oversees Quality Management Systems, and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Quality Management and at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is required, along with strong leadership and communication skills. - Ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction for product quality, delivery timelines, and collaboration.
- Review and approve final product quality and certifications with the inspection team.
- Lead problem‑solving activities and collaborate with international partners to prevent issues proactively.
- Continuously improve inspections, quality loops, and processes within the global production network.
- Oversee and enhance the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), local laws, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Identify and eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality through cross‑functional collaboration.
- Monitor and report KPIs related to quality and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation.
- Support global quality projects and maintain close communication with international counterparts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA preferred) in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior quality leadership roles within manufacturing, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Operations, QMS, IMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.
