Job Description:
Conveyancing Lawyer
Prepare and/or review all legal document(s)/agreement(s) related to sale and purchase of property (direct purchase of property from developer & sub-sale)
Prepare and/or review all loan documentation(s) (retail & corporate loans)
Well versed in S&P and loan transactions as the procedures involved
Efficiently attend to file(s)/case(s) assigned to ensure that deadline(s) are met and to provide regular update(s)/status to client(s) on file(s)/cases(s) assigned
Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of the progress of their transactions, address any concerns or questions they may have and provide updates on important development
To assist the Partners in the above transactions
Such other duties as may be reasonably expected and required by our Firm from time to time
Litigation Lawyer
- To handle litigation matters as drafting, preparing, filing and attending courts
- To prepare status reports and updates to superior and clients
- Good research, drafting & opinion writing skills
- Must be meticulous, efficient and have an analytical mind
- To attend to other legal work assigned by the Firm from time to time
Litigation Secretary
- Minimum with two (2) years working experience in Litigation in a legal firm is required
- Familiar with litigation procedure
- To complete assigned work in strict deadline
- To monitor closely all files progress to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
- To work independently with minimum supervision
- To attend to other legal work assigned by the Firm from time to time
Qualifications and Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Conveyancing Lawyer
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution and Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP or its equivalent
- Minimum with five (5) years working experience in as Conveyancing lawyer.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and manage to multi tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with positive working attitude.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Able to converse, read & write in Chinese is an added advantage.
- Expected personality traits: highly ethical, responsible, organized, meticulous, proactive and able to maintain confidentiality
- Possess own transport and willing to travel and attend ad-hoc matters.
- Salary and benefits commensurate with experience
- Candidates with short notice period / able to start immediately is an added advantage
- Applicants must be willing to work at Damansara Heights
Litigation Lawyer
