Job summary

A leading company in the industry in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks an Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive to manage full accounts, prepare bank reconciliations, and generate financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accountancy, experience in property development accounts, and proficiency in SQL accounting software. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end closing.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily bank balances.
  • Generate monthly management reports and assist in audit preparation.

Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive

Manage the full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.

Prepare bank reconciliations and closely monitor daily bank balances.

Generate monthly management reports and attend to other accounting-related matters.

Assist in audit and tax preparation and liaise with relevant authorities as required.

Coordinate with external parties, including auditors, tax authorities, company secretaries, bankers, and suppliers.

Maintain accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and inter-company account records.

Proactively identify and resolve internal and external accounting issues to ensure smooth operational processes.

Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and filing to support all accounting transactions.

Manage day-to-day accounting operations in an efficient and timely manner.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.

1–2 years of relevant working experience.

Proficient in handling full set of accounts.

Experience with property development accounts, HDA, etc., is a plus.

Experience in the construction/property development industry is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of SQL accounting software, IFCA.net, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent documentation, filing, and organizational skills.

Good interpersonal and communication abilities.

Positive attitude, fast learner, meticulous, responsible, and reliable.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
