Job summary

A leading construction and property development firm in Malaysia seeks a Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience in contract administration. Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Pre & Post contracts to coordinate closely and effectively with site staff of Project Implementation Department and Consultant on all documentations on contractors’ interim claims and variation works claims.
  • Involve in site measurement, quantity take-off and source for quotation.
  • Provide cost and financial advice to project team when necessary.
  • Knowledge to prepare technical contract and able to read up tender specifications and drawings.
  • To handle any other job functions as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of relevant experience in pre and post contract administration, construction claims, legal and contractual issues.
  • Familiar with project costing and pre and post contract administration with good knowledge of laws.
  • Possess high integrity, matured with strong negotiation and inter-personal skill.
