A manufacturing company in Johor is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Technician to oversee equipment installation, maintenance, and team development. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in engineering and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical knowledge, particularly in electrical systems, and excellent organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities include managing maintenance activities, monitoring project performance, and supporting manufacturing productivity. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years working experience in Maintenance or Engineering.
- Knowledge of plastic blow molding is an added advantage.

- Strong technical background with knowledge in electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

Description du poste
Job Responsibilities
- Organizes and performs engineering and maintenance activities related to the installation, modification, troubleshooting, repairs, calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure that they are safe, efficient, reliable, and meet GMP/regulatory/production requirements.
- Prepare maintenance work plan for all plants and equipment installation and commissioning.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan, identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Develop, prioritize, and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies of projects. Evaluate changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, timeline of a project.
- Support production in equipment maintenance, process, quality, and productivity improvement. Provide technical aid for adjustment of processing equipment and new equipment.
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans to minimize and eliminate interruption to manufacturing that lead to production loss.
- Developing, motivating and training of his/her maintenance/engineering teams and building talent capability of his/her team members to provide responsive and cost-effective services.
- Plan, prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and project deadline are met.
- Manage all equipment/machinery to ensure good equipment reliability and efficiency include MHE such as forklift.
- Manage and maintain factory building including company hostel, facilities and ground. Ensure timely response to service requests.
- Manage environment, machinery matters and coordinate with the local government authorities.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment/machineries in a timely manner.
- Respond and attend to all breakdown of equipment/facilities promptly and efficiently.
- Identify the causes of breakdown of the machines/equipment and include it in the preventive schedule to ensure no repetition.
- Maintain and record all breakdown incidents. Maintain machineries/equipment to monitor performance and facilitate future trouble shooting /reference.
- Oversee and manage all out-source facilities/equipment contract maintenance and supplier/contractor.
- Arrange specialized procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.
- Plan and maintain the spare parts inventory especially for critical items.
- Carry out plant improvement projects, repairs, maintenance, and fabrication work as part of continuous improvement activities with safety concern.
- Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
- Ensure works carried out are comply with the company’s tools and processes necessary for tracking, planning and resolution of non-conformities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Preferable with 1 to 3 years working experience in Maintenance or Engineering works.
- Knowledge of plastic blow molding is an added advantage.
- Possess good analytical and planning skills.
